Implantology
It’s the ultimate technique for the replacement of lost teeth. Traditional dentistry, which relies on bridges, partials, and dentures, simply cannot compare to the “good as new” quality that our advanced implant technology can give you.
Implantology is based on “osseointegration,” which is an incredibly strong bonding of titanium and other materials to the surrounding bone. This allows the new replacement tooth (or teeth) to not only have a very strong, stable, and long-lasting base, but also to enjoy all the comfort, functionality, and beauty of healthy teeth.
And because of our outstanding experience and knowledge in this area, you’ll not only receive welcome results, but the process itself is sure to be both expedient and comfortable.
Orthodontics
Orthodontics, essentially, is the correction of mouth and facial irregularities to bring teeth, lips, and jaws into proper alignment, correcting such problems as crowding, overbite, underbite, and spacing.
We provide referrals to various orthodontists. For less complex cases and for patients who do not want conventional braces, we offer invisible braces. Please ask your dentist for further information.
Prosthdontics
Also called prosthetic dentistry, prosthodontics involves the replacement of teeth or gum tissue with artificial devices to maintain function, comfort, health and an attractive appearance. Our technological capabilities in this area partner with years of expertise performing procedures including single and multiple tooth implants, crowns and bridges, partial dentures, full dentures, and removable dentures.
We provide a wide choice of materials for crowns and ceramic work making it look as natural and strong as possible. Our Valplast flexible dentures are particularly suitable for patients looking for an alternative to conventional dentures
Anxious patient care
We all at Smiledent appreciate the apprehension many patients have to dental treatment. Apart from making you feel warm and comfortable during the treatment, we provide conscious sedation, which helps alleviate this fear. Ask your dentist for further information
Periodontics
Periodontal disease, commonly known as “gum disease,” occurs when bacteria infect the parts of the gums around the teeth, forming pockets and destroying tissue and bone if left untreated. Worse yet, the infections can lead to teeth loss, and have even been linked to more serious problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and low birth-weight babies.
Fortunately, however, periodontal disease is preventable and controllable, and we offer advanced disease-control treatments and cosmetic gum procedures. We have in house hygienists who along with the dentist work to improve your gums. Certain individuals may need to be referred to a specialist for further care.
Oral Surgery.
